An exclusively film-based practice

I photograph exclusively on black-and-white film, from the shot to the development. This practice, born from a personal photographic project devoted to time and memory, now also guides my work as a portrait, reportage and memorial-reportage photographer.

I do not see film as a stylistic effect, but as a method that demands preparation, attention and a certain restraint — qualities I bring to every project, personal or commercial.

Where I work

Based in Belgium, I travel across Wallonia, Brussels, throughout France and in French-speaking Switzerland for portrait sessions and reportage. Memorial reportages, including in the United States, can be considered more broadly, on request.

A dual activity, two distinct approaches

Alongside this service activity, I pursue a personal photographic project devoted to history and memory. The distinction between the two approaches is detailed here.
