Reportage
Telling what actually happened, without staging.
Corporate event, seminar, opening, community project or documentary: I shoot reportage on black-and-white film that favours the truth of the moment over immediate effect.
An image that stays true over time
Black-and-white film avoids the trend-driven look that quickly dates an image. A reportage shot today remains legible and relevant in ten or twenty years, which makes it well suited to institutional communication, an annual report, or a company archive.
How it works
After a briefing on the key moments to cover, I blend into the flow of the day or the event. The negatives are developed and then scanned in high resolution; a curated, captioned selection is delivered to you within an agreed timeframe, for practical use (communication, press, social media). The film negative remains the original archive of your images, and a traditional print in A5, A4 or A3 size (roughly 6×8, 8×12 or 12×16 in) can be made for the images you wish to keep or frame.
Use of the images
Usage rights for the photographs (internal communication, website, press, social media) are specified before the assignment, in the quote. They belong to you for the agreed uses.
Finding a place, a memory
If your reportage is about finding a place from the First or Second World War tied to your family or association, and photographing it today, discover the memorial reportage, a service dedicated to this research work.
